Another interesting Serkel article published on Babyvine. The article covers how to identify Plagiocephaly and Brachycephaly, what cause it and possible ways to treat those conditions.

Our Orthotists use white-light scanning to take precise measurements of baby’s head, so the Serkel process is stress-free and easy. To find your closest clinic, or for more information give us a call on 1300 823 113.

Once the head scan has taken place, our Orthotists will get a comprehensive scan full of information, so you are able to make an informed decision.

This patient has plagiocephaly, which is an asymmetry of the head. You can see this in the scan on the left. The scan on the right is the same head, after Serkel helmet therapy. You can see there has been a huge improvement.
